Centre of Excellence in Industrial Automation
The Industries Commissionerate, Government of Gujarat; Siemens Industry Software (India) Pvt. Ltd.; DesignTech Systems Ltd., India; and Gujarat Technological University - Institute of Technology & Research (GTU-ITR), Mehsana have jointly established this state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence (CoE). The Centre functions as a premier regional hub for bridging the gap between theoretical academia and hands-on industrial engineering.
Core Strategic Objectives
- Establish world-class, open-access technical training laboratories in North Gujarat.
- Skill up-gradation for engineering diploma and degree students, faculty, and industry personnel.
- Directly bridge the gap between academic curricula and contemporary industrial automation demands.
- Promote applied research, prototyping, and innovation for small and medium manufacturing enterprises.
- Foster collaborative industry-institute linkages through certified fastrack courses.
